Colorado Lift News Summer 2002 Edition
|
Highlights:
Breckenridge is upgrading the old chair 4 this summer. The old lift was a
Riblet double chair and was one of the original lifts on the mountain.
Leitner - Poma will be replacing the lift with a state-of-the-art high-speed
quad. This new lift will start at the base of peak 9, then travel to the base
of the old chair 4 where it will have a mid station. Finally, it will rise to the
Vista Haus Lodge.
The Breckenridge Ski Area will also be adding the new Peak 7
high-speed six person lift. It will be the state's only new terrain for this
season. The lift will be constructed by Leitner-Poma.
