I managed to make a day trip to Breckenridge yesterday, my second of the season. Breck had virtually everything running with decent coverage. I started the day on the E chair while avalanche control was taking place on the upper bowls. By 9:30, the tbar and 6 chair opened. While 6 chair was a little icy from the warm temps earlier in the week, the few inches of snow Friday night made the skiing ok. The Horseshoe and Independence bowls were skiing very nicely though.
I made a trip down the lake chutes, which are really nicely pitched slopes off of the Imperial Lift. Here are a few pictures from my line:
