History: This is a unique ski area since it operated during the summer
months. Residents from nearby Estes Park would use old mining cars to
transport snow and ice to this slope for special meets during the summer.
During the 1950's, a ski jump was added.
Directions: This area is located off of the US 34 bypass outside of Estes
Park
