Holderness Ranch Tow
Operation Dates: mid-1940's

Lifts: 1  Rope Tow

History:
By Bill Fetcher

In the mid-1940s Jack Holderness built and ran a rope tow southwest of
Hayden just off Routt County Road 65 (Breeze Basin Road) past the
elementary school. It had an electric motor drive at the top. Despite
having no rope it looks to be fairly intact. The hill is used for sliding. The
top of the hill is Holderness ranch property;
no trespassing.
